Reynoldsburg -- The Reynoldsburg Education Foundation is proud to announce that it is increasing its Teacher Mini-Grants to $500 each this year. The REF began its mini-grant program in 2021, awarding grants to teachers in the classroom at $250 each. That quickly grew to $350 each with innovative, creative ideas pouring in. While the REF was pleased with the projects, we knew that some ideas needed a bit more money in order to be brought to life. So this year, the REF Board of Directors voted to increase the grants to $500 each, allowing teachers a little more latitude in their creativity. At least one grant is awarded per school, with two granted at the high school level. The REF Mini-Grant Program is made possible by the generous donations of its supporters, and through the incredible involvement of our community at events like our annual Gala and Auction, Designer Purse BINGO, and Mulligan Golf Classic which we host with our partners at the HEART Food Pantry. We look forward to the 2025-26 Grant Season! To date, the REF has awarded over $35,000 in grants and scholarships, and has invested $30,000 with the Columbus Foundation as we plan for future giving in Reynoldsburg.
