Reynoldsburg -- The Reynoldsburg Education Foundation partnered with the City Of Reynoldsburg and Council President Shanette Strickland this year in recognizing three Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship winners at the 4th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast Saturday, January 18, 2025. The REF donated $500, sponsoring one of two Dream Builder Scholarships. A second Dream Builder Scholarship was sponsored by GameDay Men's Health, and Victoria Secret sponsored this year's $1,500 Empowering Young Women Scholarship. The scholarship dollars are awarded to outstanding Reynoldsburg Seniors seeking a four-year degree or post-high school career training who submitted literary works of their choosing highlighting Dr. King's influence on their lives and futures. This year's winners were Alaina Towns (Empowering Young Women Scholarship), Rutendo Mukumba (Dream Builder Scholarship), and Pratima Neopaney (Dream Builder Scholarship). The REF was proud to help coordinate the scholarship application process this year, and contribute to the scholarship fund. Congratulations to all three young women! We are proud of you and look forward to the bright futures that lie ahead of you. (The three literary works are linked below.)
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
